ISC2 publishes a current region-by-region Official Training Partner list. That is the authorization source of truth for official courseware and authorized instructors. It is still only the first check: compare readiness, format, instructor, schedule, time zone, pace, bundle, total price, cancellation terms and the exact seller-versus-delivery identity.

Authorization is the baseline

Choose the format that solves the preparation gap

ISC2 says official classroom training uses official courseware and an authorized instructor; its training catalog also offers live online and self-paced paths. Official status does not make one pace right for everyone. CISSP is positioned for experienced practitioners and has a work-experience requirement governed by ISC2’s current eligibility and waiver rules, while training is not required to sit for or pass the exam.

Experienced, deadline-driven

Compare intensive live courses when protected time, real-time questions and scenario discussion are the actual need. Verify prework and daily hours before choosing a five-day pace.

Broad gaps or limited study time

Compare part-time live or longer self-paced access when eight domains need reinforcement. Confirm feedback, recordings, access duration and whether the exam is included.

Not yet experience-qualified

Separate preparation from certification status. Do not buy an expensive course on the assumption that completion replaces the work-experience requirement.
