Start with fit, not a provider

Provider preference is not part of the primary match. We start with what you need to accomplish and the preparation you already have.

You can explore without booking training or sending a request.

Optional: ask Learnerside for training help

Ask Learnerside about training

Tell us the course or skill you need. Name, email and permission to reply are enough; class-time and format preferences are optional. After receipt, your request is available for private Learnerside review. A response may include relevant research, a question that clarifies your need, or the next detail to verify before choosing training. Receipt does not confirm that a review is complete.

Start typing a certification, such as A+ or Security+, to see matching research. You can also describe a course or skill in your own words.

This request is scheduled for retention review within 30 days. You may ask for a copy or deletion through the privacy contact (opens in a new tab). We do not share this request with a training provider; a later introduction would require separate consent naming the provider.

Do not include passwords, payment details, government ID numbers, health information, completed government forms or confidential work details.

Complete “Verify you are human” above to enable sending. Your name, email and permission to reply are also required.

Add optional schedule and format preferences

Leave anything unknown blank. These help us look for a workable class; they are not a booking request. A private or customized course is a scope request, not a delivery format.

Keep my answers before reloading

If the form cannot confirm receipt, copy your answers before reloading. Complete spam protection and try the protected form again. Copying sends nothing and does not confirm receipt.

No account needed. Your optional plan is local until you choose to send a request. Sending the short request sends its stated need, any selected class reference and your contact details to Learnerside under the form’s disclosure. A provider introduction requires separate approval naming the provider.

Ask for the smallest support that closes the real constraint

Paid training is useful when it solves a specific problem: protected time, guided labs, instructor feedback, a fixed deadline, accessibility support or consistent team delivery. If free study and practical work already meet the need, ask only for the exam, lab access or work time you actually require.

A defensible approval request follows this order

  1. State the work result or written requirement.
  2. Show that the learner is ready for the proposed format and pace.
  3. Explain the schedule, time away and completion deadline.
  4. Separate known costs from estimates and unresolved quote items.
  5. Ask for funding, attendance permission or permission to obtain a current quote.

If Security+ is for a DoD 8140 work requirement, start with the dedicated requirement-first path. Confirm the assigned DCWF work role, proficiency level, accepted foundational route and requirement owner before treating a credential or course as the answer. The employer draft marks full qualification unresolved; it is not a compliance verdict.

What a manager-ready request should contain

  1. Decision: The exact funding, work time, purchase order or quote authority requested.
  2. Business case: The project, responsibility, role requirement or performance gap the training supports.
  3. Learner fit: Current experience, prerequisites, practice needs and why the format and pace are appropriate.
  4. Calendar: Every class date, daily hours, time zone, time away and completion deadline.
  5. Complete cost: Tuition, taxes, labs, materials, exams, travel and the learner count or pricing basis.
  6. Evidence and unknowns: Sources, quote date and expiry, provider authorization, cancellation terms and any item still awaiting confirmation.

The local draft is useful without submitting a request. When a formal quote is required, attach a current provider-issued proposal with the exact dates, total price, inclusions, cancellation terms and expiry. Neither document reserves a seat.
