Juniper certifications: choose the networking work you need to learn

Choose Junos foundations, automation, design, cloud networking, Mist operations, routing, SRX security or data-center practice. The security guides separate Associate policy basics, Specialist VPN and threat operations, and Professional segmentation and recovery. Free demonstrations, operated labs and a credential are different outcomes; check active prerequisites and conflicting booking instructions.

Which Juniper route fits your requirement?

Learn network design

JNCIA-Design has no prerequisite certification. Compare requirements and resilience work; free virtual labs are excluded and the JNDF PDF contains credential and lab-label conflicts.

JNCIA-Design exam, courses and preparation guide

Learn cloud networking

JNCIA-Cloud has no prerequisite certification. Free virtual labs are advertised, but OpenShift coverage and the JCF PDF’s conflicting security blocks need clarification.

JNCIA-Cloud exam, courses and preparation guide

Learn Mist network operations

JNCIA-MistAI has no prerequisite certification. It concerns wireless, wired and WAN operations, rather than general AI engineering. Free virtual labs are excluded; paid IJMA cloud and device revisions need confirmation.

Operate an Apstra data-center blueprint

JNCIS-DC requires active JNCIA-DC. Compare Apstra 5.1 blueprint design and operations with the APSTRA course, its background prerequisites and unknown actual lab access.

JNCIS-DC exam, Apstra training and preparation guide

Implement an EVPN-VXLAN data-center fabric

JNCIP-DC accepts active JNCIS-DC or JNCIS-ENT. Its 23.4 exam differs from ADCX 25.2 labs; ADCX explicitly excludes Apstra. Compare interconnect and isolation practice before purchase.

Learn the packet path and safe Junos configuration

JNCIA-Junos has no prerequisite certification. Compare free demonstrations with paid IJOS labs, and understand candidate configuration, routing and recovery before buying support.

JNCIA-Junos exam, learning and lab guide

Diagnose enterprise routing and switching

JNCIS-ENT requires JNCIA-Junos; its free course requires an active record. Compare nine unweighted families with routing and switching lab courses. Course revisions and conflicting issuer dates need confirmation.

JNCIS-ENT exam, courses and practice guide

Evaluate advanced enterprise routing and switching

JNCIP-ENT requires active JNCIS-ENT. Compare the 25.2 exam with AJER 25.2 and AJEX 21.4 preparation, then try a campus EVPN and voice-recovery decision record.

JNCIP-ENT exam, routing and switching training guide

Diagnose service-provider routing and MPLS

JNCIS-SP requires active JNCIA-Junos. Compare free demonstrations with JIR, JSPX and JMF labs; the JIR PDF has conflicting security blocks that need a corrected outline before purchase.

JNCIS-SP exam, provider courses and preparation guide

Choose and protect customer VPN services

JNCIP-SP requires active JNCIS-SP. Separate the 22.3 exam from newer structured courses and older free modules. Free subscription terms exclude virtual labs despite lab wording in module descriptions.

JNCIP-SP exam, VPN training and preparation guide

Understand SRX policy and traffic flow

JNCIA-SEC has no prerequisite certification. Compare free demonstrations with IJSEC lab support; a voucher listing is not registration or total cost. Try a fictional least-privilege packet-path plan.

JNCIA-SEC exam, free learning and security guide

Diagnose VPN, identity and threat operations

JNCIS-SEC requires JNCIA-SEC; free course access requires an active record. The exam24.4 and course24.2 revisions differ. Compare JSEC practice with demonstrations and a private service-recovery rubric.

Plan complex segmentation and resilient recovery

JNCIP-SEC requires JNCIS-SEC. Separate its22.2/22.1 exam baseline from23.2 preparation, and use an original overlapping-network decision record before buying advanced lab feedback.

Test practical readiness with the guide’s tasks and original assessment where available. Recommended experience, formal eligibility and a requirement owner’s approval are different questions. Neither a score nor course completion guarantees passing or employment.

Browse the Juniper guides available on Learnerside. Filter by subject, experience requirements, dated exam status and cost, renewal model, and official preparation.

14 published guides—not the vendor’s entire credential inventory. Each card carries its own observation dates; these do not verify every guide fact, a current training price or an available seat. Experience requirements and recommendations remain separate; neither predicts a pass rate or job outcome.

Training options, course outlines and total cost

What should you verify before paying for Juniper training?

Compare free Open Learning demonstrations with personally operated IJOS, JIR and JEX labs for networking, or IJSEC, JSEC and AJSEC for SRX security. Security exam24.4 and22.2/22.1 differ from course24.2 and23.2 revisions; confirm applicable preparation. Verify the seller, exact course revision, access period, feedback and total terms; the issuer course directory does not authorize every reseller.

Start with the official preparation linked from the credential guide. Free reading or videos do not establish that labs, practice exams or a voucher are included. Pay for structure, feedback, accessibility, a workable schedule or team support when those solve a real constraint.

Use a guide’s training comparison where available; no comparison link means Learnerside has not published one, not that training is unavailable. A dated price is not a quote and a published class is not a confirmed seat. Confirm time zone, modality, per-learner versus cohort price, taxes, voucher, retake, lab and recording access, cancellation and accessibility before purchase. Unknown extras are not zero.

Roles, skills and salary context

What does the credential show—and what does it not show?

Networking foundations, enterprise diagnosis, SRX policy, VPN operations and complex security recovery are different work gaps. Use an original packet-path or recovery sample to explain your choices. A paper answer is not performed security work; neither concepts nor a badge establishes job performance or a salary premium.

Where a guide supplies wage context, read the occupation, geography, reporting year and mapping limits. Occupational wages are not the salary of credential holders, a causal certification pay premium or an offer you should expect. If a reviewed role mapping or wage source is missing, the answer remains unknown.

Keep researching, get employer support or ask a short question

You can use these guides without contact. For an employer or team, start with the work outcome, current skills, schedule and delivery preference. An exact budget is not required to ask for help. A request permits Learnerside to reply; provider sharing requires separate consent naming the recipient.
