Network+ cost decision
What does Network+ certification cost?
Keep exam fees, optional training and renewal separate. These dated observations help you ask better questions; they do not establish a current price or a complete team quote.
Standalone exam: $399 observed for one attempt. CompTIA exam-fee source, checked 2026-09-09. Preparation, retakes, tax and regional variation are separate; recheck the current price before paying.
Training is optional. The separately listed $150 CE-route fee covers one three-year renewal cycle, observed 2026-08-09; it is not part of the standalone exam price. The illustration below combines these two dated fees, not the full cost of learning or a checkout total.
Exam + CE-route fee illustration
$549 = $399 observed exam fee + $150 listed CE-route fee.
This adds the recorded exam fee and CE-route fee for one three-year cycle, using separately dated observations. It is not a current quote or a complete learning budget. Instruction, practice, retakes, tax and learner time are excluded. Other permitted renewal routes can have different costs and conditions.
Exam observation: 2026-09-09; CE-fee observation: 2026-08-09. Read the separately sourced components below before budgeting.
Dated cost observations
These are U.S.-dollar observations from the linked sources, not a checkout price. Source dates differ; recheck each item before approval or purchase.
Why there is no single course-plus-exam total
The lowest observed e-learning price does not establish whether its exam voucher is included. Adding the standalone exam fee could double-count it; omitting the fee could understate the cost. ONLC advertises a voucher but conditions its release. Neither offer establishes a live-instruction price, a seat, a private-group quote or the final amount after tax.
If you use the CE-fee renewal route, budget that fee separately from the exam and optional instruction. Confirm the renewal method you expect to use; earning a higher qualifying CompTIA certification or another permitted route can change the cost. Retakes, staff time and other resources remain outside these observed prices.
What to verify before paying
Confirm your learner count, delivery format, accessibility needs, course version, exact voucher terms, taxes, cancellation rights and any deadline. A published course fee is not approval to buy.
