Microsoft training partner verification

Verify the current Microsoft course—not an old Gold badge

Microsoft now describes its official network as Training Services Partners, formerly the Learning Partner Program. Partner status establishes an official-delivery baseline; it does not establish the best instructor, live seat, schedule, lab experience, price, voucher bundle or cancellation terms for your class.

Legacy funding warning

Software Assurance Training Vouchers were retired in 2021

Microsoft’s current Product Terms say Training Vouchers were retired from Software Assurance benefits on February 1, 2021. Old SATV guides and provider pages can still appear in search results, but they do not establish a currently redeemable benefit.

If an employer says it has SATVs, ask the licensing or procurement owner to identify the current funding instrument in writing. An exam voucher, Enterprise Skills Initiative access, a partner discount and an employer training balance are different things with different eligibility and redemption rules.

What official delivery establishes

Verify the program requirements, then compare the actual course

Training Services Partner

Microsoft says enrolled partners deliver official Microsoft courseware through Microsoft Learn, use Microsoft Certified Trainers for all courses, provide achievement codes and use the Metrics That Matter survey. Verify the exact organization in Microsoft’s current partner finder.

Solution Partner designation

Microsoft describes the Solutions Partner for Training Services designation as an advanced, optional designation. It is not required to deliver official Microsoft training, so absence of that advanced badge is not the same as absence from the underlying partner program.

Course-level fit

Neither label proves that the advertised session is current, will run, has the right instructor, includes the needed labs or exam, or fits your time zone and learning pace. Those facts belong in the dated match packet.

Current-status verification

Use Microsoft’s directory for the exact legal identity

Search the exact provider and location in Microsoft’s current finder before enrollment. Match the listed organization to the seller, delivering organization and proposal. A legacy Learning Partner logo, old Gold competency, acquisition announcement or reseller page does not by itself prove who will deliver your session.

Check current schedules and total price

Tell Learnerside the exact Microsoft course or exam, your readiness, time zone, schedule, pace, budget, labs, voucher needs and any real funding instrument. The verified results should name 2–3 suitable options—or explain honestly why fewer qualify.
