• CompTIA CySA+ (CS0-004 / V4) exam objectives (certification page): Learnerside records this against the current exam CS0-004, verified from the vendor on 2026-08-23. Objectives summary and CS0-004 domain weights are shown inline on the official certification page; CompTIA CertMaster products and bundles are paid. (noted when we read this source, 2026-07-08)
• CompTIA CySA+ full course (CS0-003): Learnerside records this against exam CS0-003 and has not verified whether that is still the current exam — check the vendor's page before relying on it. 58 videos structured to the full CS0-003 objective list. It targets the RETIRING CS0-003, whose English exam retires 2026-12-22, so it omits the AI-tooling and AI-governance content in CS0-004 and teaches the older domain weights. • Blue Team CTF challenges: Learnerside records this against the current exam CS0-004, verified from the vendor on 2026-08-23. Hands-on incident-response, forensics and threat-hunting scenarios aligned to MITRE ATT&CK, mapping to CySA+ domains 1-3. The free path, in order

1. Start from the exam objectives / outline — it is the scope the certifying body itself publishes, and where a vendor also publishes domain weightings they are in it. It may not be a comprehensive list of every exam topic. Study against it, not against a course's table of contents. The current target stated above controls; if the vendor changes it after the checked date, use the vendor's newest outline.

2. Work the free structured course(s) above to build the skills — first check each one against What to know above, and where a course was written for a different exam version than the one you will sit, treat it as background rather than as your main preparation. Treat official material as scope authority and community material as instruction; use official sample questions where they exist.

3. Free study lowers what you spend preparing, not what the exam itself costs — see what it costs to earn and keep.
